The Anti-Social Behaviour Training Program builds the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to prevent, assess, and respond effectively to anti-social behaviour in community housing.
Through four focused modules, participants learn how to identify and assess reports, support victims and vulnerable residents, conduct fair and thorough investigations, and take proactive action to reduce and prevent incidents. This program supports staff to respond consistently and confidently while promoting safer, more cohesive communities.
DURATION
This eLearning program includes four modules, with a total completion time of approximately three to four hours. Each module takes less than one hour to complete.
MODULE 1: Receiving and Assessing a Report of ASB
DESCRIPTION
This module helps you understand the definition of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and how to tell the difference between ASB and everyday tenancy issues. You’ll explore examples and edge cases, learn how perceptions and context matter, and reflect on how bias can influence decision-making. This foundation sets the stage for appropriate responses in later modules.

The module includes examples of low, medium, and high-level ASB and how to tailor your response.

This module focuses on what to do when anti-social behaviour has been confirmed. You’ll learn how to take proportionate, lawful, and timely action—from early conversations to formal processes. The module also covers how to support impacted tenants and maintain fair treatment for all parties.
