Delivered in partnership with Olive Group. This course covers different types emergencies, including fires and armed intruders, types of extinguishers, PASS system for operating extinguishers and evacuation/shelter in place procedures. Suitable for all staff.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Recognise different types of emergencies, including fires and armed intruder situations
- Identify types of fire extinguishers and understand when and how to use them using the PASS system
- Follow correct evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures
- Respond calmly and appropriately to emergency situations in the workplace
