DESCRIPTION
Working in social housing means supporting a vulnerable client group who may lack community connection or access to services. This workshop explores your duty of care and how to recognise early signs that a tenant may need help. You’ll learn how to carry out welfare checks appropriately and sensitively, take the right actions at the right time, and consider alternatives to physical checks where possible. We’ll also cover how to record and report wellbeing concerns and provide practical safety guidance for staff undertaking welfare visits.
