DESCRIPTION
This course introduces the key elements of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), including who it’s designed for, how it’s delivered, and what makes it different from other forms of housing.
You’ll explore the SDA ecosystem including SDA properties and design categories, the resident-centred approach and SDA provider practice standards and responsibilities. Ideal for staff new to SDA or those supporting its delivery, this course provides a solid grounding in how SDA operates under the NDIS and state legislation. It also serves as a helpful introduction before completing the Tenancy Management in Specialist Disability Accommodation course.
