DESCRIPTION
Community housing providers must ensure tenancies are managed in line with tenancy law. This introductory workshop gives staff a clear overview of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (RTA) in New South Wales, focusing on the legal and regulatory responsibilities of both tenants and landlords. You’ll explore the key documents and processes used in tenancy management — including agreements, condition reports and disclosures — along with guidance on ending tenancies, conducting inspections, and attending Tribunal.

- Understand the purpose and importance of the RTA in community housing
- Describe the responsibilities of tenants and landlords under the Act
